It's hot...sort of

A variety of timely subjects in the life of Andrew:

I would say that it is smoldering today--and has been smoldering for the past week. However, I came down with something yesterday, and I found something out. 100 degrees feels kind of good when you have a fever. Call me crazy. I'm on the deck right now making this post.

____________

I came down with something flu-like so my mom took me to the doctor because lymes desease has those symptoms (i.e. see last post. lol). I'm glad we went because you don't want to fool around with tick-borne illnesses. The doctor didn't think I had it, but I did get a couple of shots to update my vaccines. They weren't to bad, although I hear my arm will be sore for a couple of days.

____________

We had Father's day last night because my dad leaves on Saturday to go up to Mountain Top Youth Camp to be a counselor for a week and my brother leaves next Monday to go to Alaska for two months with Campus Crusade. I threw in some I-tunes for Dad...because I waited too late.

____________

God has been so good. On Sunday, two people at our small church were taken to the hospital. Thankfully, they are both ok. However, one of them was in very serious condition. It really makes you think. This elderly man is at church on Sunday night, you see him and it's just a normal Sunday. However, when he gets home, he chokes on an orange and goes into cardiac arrest. He was in the ICU but last night Dad was even let in to see him at the hospital. He was talking and everything like the same old Bruce.

See ya.
