Commonplace 10

Ok. So, this commonplace is one I hold. I'm not willing to give up my religious beliefs, like that the Bible is God's word and it is perfect.

I don't have the time to research the Bible, though I can and have read it for my self and look to see whether or not there are contradictions. When I find an apparent one, like most Christians, I am usually going to believe that it really isn't as it seemed. The proof just hasn't been uncovered yet. I trust God and the Christians who have researched it in my place.

Everyone has something the believe like that.

This was the best example I could come up with in a pinch. This is a guy criticizing the Bible (Ignore the quotes taken out of context. I also don't have to address the actually legitimate allegations in this clip because this is not this post's purpose), . Christians often use the simple proof that "It's true because it says so."
